Isaiah 53:4-5 - wounded for our transgressions

Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. 5. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed.

Philippians 4:6-7 - do not be anxious

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

3 John 1:11 - do not imitate evil

Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.

James 1:12 - remain steadfast under trial

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
